The UMPI Owls Men's Soccer team hosted their second North Atlantic Conference cross divisional opponent of the weekend, the SUNY Delhi Broncos. The Broncos would come out with the win, after a game winning goal with just five minutes left in the game.
An early foul in the box by the Owls gave the Broncos a penalty kick in just the third minute of the game. Michael Williams Jr would score the PK to give the Broncos an early lead. The Broncos would hold off the Owls throughout the first half to go into halftime up one. In the second half the Owls earned a penalty kick themselves as Nathaniel Stone was fouled in the box, and buried one in the back of the net to tie the game in the 64th minute. The teams continued their back and forth until the 85th minute of the game, where Erik Kleczkowski scored an unassisted goal to win the game.
Matthew Bayonne led the Owls on the offensive side with two shots on goal, as the Owls finished with five on the day to the Broncos seven. Xavier McAtee finished the game with five saves.
