University of Maine Cooperative Extension will hold a free Tidewater Farm field day 5–6:30 p.m. Aug. 18. at the Tidewater Farm demonstration gardens in Falmouth.
Hands-on demonstrations about deadheading and extending the season include best practices for annuals and perennials, as well as late-season vegetables to plant and protections against frost. UMaine Extension staff and Master Gardener Volunteers will lead the event.
