Thanks to funds made possible by Senator Angus S. King, Jr., NMCC's electrical construction & maintenance program will double its capacity beginning this fall. The expansion is part of an effort to meet the high demand for licensed electricians in this region and beyond.
NMCC’s two-year associate’s degree in electrical construction & maintenance provides students with 4,000 hours towards their journeyman license and training in residential, commercial wiring systems, industrial, and control system installation. Locally, graduates are in high demand among contractors and larger operations such as McCain Foods, Pineland Farms, Irving Woodlands, or healthcare facilities. The College also offers a 9-month certificate program.
