Of the 2,238 people living in Fort Kent in 2019, 52.5 percent (1,175) were women and 47.5 percent (1,063) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Aroostook News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 711-to-621. In the 65 and over age range, there were 333 females and 286 males.
