The Long Lake Ice Fishing Derby has now completed its 18th Annual event, which has proven to be another amazing success. The derby has grown to be Northern Maines largest ice fishing derby and continues to grow each year. To date, the derby has donated $120,000 to the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer fund, including a generous $10,000 donation made this year. The derby has also committed to donating $60,000 to the NMMC Foundation over 5 years. This year they presented us with the 3rd payment of $12,000. Seen here are Travis Guy of NMMC accepting on behalf of the Edgar J. Paradis Cancer fund and Kris Malmborg accepting on behalf of the NMMC Foundation.  Derby Chairman Paul Bernier, seen in the center, looks forward to carrying on and growing the derby in the years to come. Also seen here are derby board members Don Raymond and Ryan Pelletier. THANK YOU Long Lake Ice Fishing Derby coordinators and participants. These two entities are grateful for your generosity and hard work.
