The Owls faced off against the Mariners of Maine Maritime Academy in a North Atlantic Conference matchup. The Owls fell to the Mariners in the back and forth match up, 65-58.

The teams were all tied up at the end of the first quarter 11 each as both teams were locked in on the defensive end. It was in the second quarter that the teams heated up, as the Mariners would score 25 points in the quarter off 64% shooting from the field and 4-8 from beyond the arc. The Owls would score 18 points on 47% shooting to keep them within striking distance.

Coming out of halftime down 36-29 the Owls would start their comeback. Starting from the defensive end, the Owls would go on to hold the Mariners to just under 23% shooting from the field and 1-13 from the three in the third. The Owls would finish the quarter with 17 points as they cut the lead to just two going into the fourth quarter. The Owls fought hard in the final quarter of the game, bringing the game within three points multiple times. In the end the Mariners would go on to get multiple stops, including some very big offensive rebounds to help put the game away.

Emily Wheaton led the Owls once again with 30 points in an impressive 39 minutes, Wheaton's scoring was highlighted by her impressive takes to the basket, finishing scoring 12-28from the field and adding four assists. Alexis Ireland scored 11 points on 4-9 shooting while hitting 3-4 from the free throw line.

The Owls round out their regular season with a 15-10 record and 8-6 NAC record, the Owls best record since the 2013-14 season.
