The UMPI Owls women's cross country team rounded out their season at the NCAA East Region Championships, hosted by Bowdoin College. MIT would win the 6K race as a team, while Jillian Richardson of Bates would win the meet. The Owls finished in 33rd of the 35 teams, finishing with a team score of 935.
Katelyn Osborne led the Owls with a 25:49 6K, earning her a 112th place finish with 6:55.4 mile splits. Annaset Jackson was the next Owls runner to finish with a time of 29:59.3 and 8:02.6 mile splits. Following shortly was Serena Lufkin with a time of 30:27.9. First time runners Lexi Rodriguez and Kassandra Nelson finished their first meet with times of 31:33.7 and 32:09.4. Kailee Sprague rounded out the Owls runners with a time of 36:31.5.
