Meet 3rd-year Medical Student Ashley Ward!
Ashley grew up in a little town in southern Missouri (Kennett). From there she attended the University of MO for undergrad where she studied journalism.
She worked in that particular field for years before making the switch to medicine. She is passionate about working with underserved communities.
She notes that in her free time, she loves to travel, hike, and play with her two rescue pups, Winnie and Rosie.
